Pet events in Malaysia and Singapore have a way of hiding in Facebook groups and Instagram stories until the weekend they happen. So here is the roundup we wish existed: every notable cat expo, dog show, carnival and adoption drive we’re tracking between now and October 2026 — dates and venues in one place.
Dates were confirmed at the time of publishing — organisers occasionally reschedule, so check their pages before travelling far.
Coming up

Aquatic Garden & Pet Asia Show (AGPA Show)
Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore
A vibrant show that pairs aquascaping with the wider pet world — exhibits, workshops and educational talks by industry experts. A good one if your household includes fins as well as fur.

SKC/FCI Grooming Certification & Competition
Macpherson Community Club, Singapore
The Singapore Kennel Club and FCI run a grooming certification and competition in one day — worth watching if you’ve ever wondered what show-standard grooming actually looks like. Details on the SKC’s upcoming-shows page.

SKC Championship Dog Shows
Macpherson Community Club, Singapore
Championship shows across breeds the following weekend, also from the Singapore Kennel Club. Free to watch, and a rare chance to see dozens of breeds ring-side in one hall.

Auto-City's 3rd Pet Carnival
Auto-City, Penang
Penang’s biggest pet weekend of the season: a Dog & Meow Gathering, a Pet Adoption Corner, Fur-A-Thon 2.0 and an MKA All-Breed Fun Match Show. Family-friendly, and pets are the point — bring yours.
Organised by Auto-City

Ekspo Kucing 2026 (Asia Cat Expo Malaysia)
MITEC, Kuala Lumpur
Malaysia’s largest feline exhibition — breed showcases, cat competitions, adoption drives, expert talks and halls of cat products. If you go to one cat event this year, this is the one.
Organised by Murni Ekspo Sdn Bhd (Pet Expo Malaysia)
Just wrapped — and worth watching for next time
A few good ones passed in the last fortnight: SG Pet Festival 2026 filled Marina Bay Sands at the start of August, and 8 August was a big day for animal welfare — Taylor’s Animal Welfare Society ran its Mission TAWS adoption drive at S.I. Home Shelter in Selangor, Pawtarian hosted an open day and cat adoption at Taman Kucing Klang, and the SSPCA offered free anti-rabies vaccination and microchipping in Kuching. These organisers run drives regularly — follow them, or watch the BULU community feed for the next round.
Never miss the next one
Every event above is listed in the Community tab of the BULU app, alongside adoption posts and missing-pet alerts for 23 cities across Malaysia and Singapore. RSVP as going or interested and you’ll see who else is coming — organisers see turnout building before the day.
Get BULU for iPhone, iPad or Android — free, works offline, and the events come to you.

Run pet events yourself — a cat show, an expo, an adoption or vaccination drive? You can post it and promote it on BULU for free.
